I am going to show you a good squeeze page example. Then I am going to dissect it so you can learn how to make your own high converting squeeze page. After reading this article, you should be able to double to possibly triple your conversion rates. Let’s get started…

This squeeze page was made in about 4 minutes, using Speed Squeeze Pages software. Let’s dissect this squeeze page. There are five lessons we can learn from this good squeeze page example…
- Above the Fold Design. In my extensive testing of landing pages and squeeze pages, I continue to find that these “above the fold” design is critical to maximizing your optins. I’m hesitant to say it is THE most important factor in getting leads… but I am starting to see this more and more. Take a look at the way the webpage loads in your browser and see for yourself:

- No Hype Fact-Focused Headline. I mentioned this in another Blog post. It bears repeating: The thing you will observe about this headline is that it is free of hype and crap. Instead we get better results when we focus on one SPECIFIC result (or benefit) to the visitor. Take a look at this headline and compare it to most of the over-hyped stuff you see out there that eats away at credibility before the visitor even hands over their email to you:

- A specific offer that is believable and credible. One of the big mistakes I am seeing on squeeze pages (especially in the internet marketing community) is offering too much free content, eg. “7 day training on how to stop hair loss.” Instead I can often dramatically increase optins by changing it to ONE really good tip as opposed to “7 tips.” I cannot really explain why this works but I guess it is more credible and believable an offer. In this sample we are offering a “Free Buyers Guide.” See for yourself:

- Up the Ante! Keep this trick to yourself. It works VERY well. Just when the visitor has about convinced himself to hand you his email address… offer them a Bonus! This usually acts as a tipping point. In this example we offer “Bonus: You will also get a free link to Storage and Cleaning Tips for your Cool Tablet Computer.” I have used this simple trick to cause 20-30% increases in my optins! Take a peek…

- A Crystal Clear Visitor Path. 80% of squeeze pages I see are cluttered with crap: Too many banner ads, flashing headlines, no clear plan or path for the first time visitor. So guess what they do? They leave. Don’t make this mistake. Numerous studies conducted by the folks over at Marketing Experiments have proven time and again that you must be Laser Focused with your squeeze pages if you want a high conversion. There is clear visitor path on this squeeze page and I am rewarded with loads of optin as a result:

Now look at your own squeeze pages. Compare them to the Five Tips. Ask yourself, “What changes could I make that could profoundly improve the number of leads that I am getting?”
If you think that it is too complicated too build terrific looking Squeeze Pages… well than you must watch my instructional video. You get an “over the shoulder view” of how I built a killer squeeze page in under 3 minutes. To watch it go here and optin…

I do not have a website active yet. I have only reserved the domain name. When looking at your video you are not starting from a blank page but an existing page that you are making changes to.
Do I need a already designed web page? How does one start from a blank page and no website design?

I don’t do any technical consulting – I’d be too expensive for you anyway because my rate is $500/hour which is way too much to fiddle around with blogs. Instead I suggest using an easy to use Squeeze Page software that doesn’t require technical genius – this is why I developed Speed Squeeze Pages (hint-hint) You can watch how easy it is to use by watching the demo video here: http://speedsqueezepages.com/details/
